10 Months

Well this is a tad late but here's the 10 month pic.  Also, yesterday we discovered Sissy's first tooth.  It's on her bottom right side.  Finally something to show for all that drool!

She crawls!

video

So I'm clearly not the best videographer in the world, but it's on record!  Annie was determined to reach the...leaves.  That's right.  Leaves.  She could care less about the toys with lights and sound.  I had to keep pulling the leaves out of her mouth.  Anyways, things just got a tad more complicated with a crawler in the house!

9 months

Sissy turned 9 months on January 30th and we had our check up with the new doc today.   Turns out Annie has an ear infection from a cold she's had the last week, but other than that all is well.

Merry Christmas!

We spent Christmas this year with Lane's family over at his sister's house in Haslet.  She was a fantastic host and made a delicious meal!  We'll definitely miss living so close to them.

Ford's favorite gift from Santa were the Magna-Tiles.  I highly recommend this toy for any three year old, boy or girl.  Hours of fun!

Pics by a pro

We had our family christmas pictures taken by Jara Hill.  She did a great job and I'll treasure these forever.

our first gingerbread house

I picked up a gingerbread house kit one day and Stinky was thrilled to decorate it.  I tell you what though, it's no easy task to get those walls and roof upright!  Betcha can't tell what Ford's favorite part of the whole process was...

Sad Santa

I got brave and attempted to take both kiddos by myself to the Galleria for pics with Santa.  They did awesome and there was no line!  God was looking out for me that day.  The only problem was that Santa was lame.  Could he look any less jolly?  or awake?  Geez!

Nailed it

I took my favorite pictures of the entire year on December 11.  The set up was quite a feat, but oh so worth it!

gearing up for Christmas

Christmastime was a tad sad for me this year.  With the impending move, I wasn't able to decorate my house like I'd like to.  We didn't even put up our tree!  On a whim, I went to Walmart and got Stinky a small tree just so he could get into the holiday spirit.  He had fun decorating it and it was just his size.

December 7, 2013

Next, a pretty severe ice storm hit Dallas and left us home bound for 4 days.  Our electricity went out for a good 10 ours which was quite an adventure!  So, we did what anyone else would and had some good ol' laundry basket sledding fun.  Ford also loved "skating" with Daddy.

anybody still here?

Well, I have a lot to catch up on so bear with me.  We moved!  Hence the absence on the blog.  Hubs accepted a new job opportunity with Comerica to relocate to San Antonio.  We're excited to live closer to my fam and the ranch, but already miss our friends in Big D.  Before all that happened we had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my folks and Sister's family, and also bought a house all in one week!  Whew!

Omie and Opa sure enjoy spoiling these kiddos!

Here's a little preview of our new house.  Hopefully I'll get to share more when it's finally decorated.  If and when that ever happens!

Then the little one turned 7 months on November 30th!

We got some more love for Sissy's nursery!  Now this is pretty darn cool.  I think it makes me famous or something.  Right?
